ST. LOUIS – North Dakota quarterback Jerry Kaminski garnered his second consecutive Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor and third of the season Monday, while wide receiver Cameron Weir added Newcomer of the Week honors and right guard Caleb Olson was named the Offensive Lineman of the Week.

It marked the second time this season that NoDak earned three of the conference's five weekly awards.

Kaminski and No. 5/7 North Dakota rebounded from a slow start to put up 55 unanswered points in a Homecoming victory over Murray State. After falling behind 21-0, Kaminski finished the 55-28 victory over the Racers with a career-high 98 rushing yards and a touchdown, while completing 18 of 24 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns.

The Sun Prairie, Wisc., native sparked a 24-0 run in the second quarter with a 26-yard scoring strike to Nathan Hromadka and a career-best, 38-yard touchdown run as the Fighting Hawks regained the lead before halftime.

Following the break, Kaminski added two more touchdown passes during a 28-0 spurt in the third quarter as he increased his FCS-leading touchdown passes total to 19 on the season. With 55 points, UND moved into second in the FCS in scoring, averaging 42.5 ppg during its 5-1 start.

Weir earned his first career weekly award after scoring multiple touchdowns for the second straight week. The Fighting Hawk sophomore also hauled in a career-high five catches for 35 yards in the Homecoming win. His first touchdown came on a 57-yard punt return that evened the score at 21-21.

Weir would set up UND across midfield with an 18-yard punt return in the third quarter and cap that drive with a 17-yard touchdown reception to put the Fighting Hawks ahead 38-21. Weir finished the contest with a career-high 106 all-purpose yards.

In his first start of the season, Olson graded out at 84 percent on 51 snaps as the Fighting Hawks' ground game churned out a season-high 303 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over the Racers. He also did not allow a pressure or a sack, helping the offense rack up 489 total yards of offense and 30 first downs.

The Fighting Hawks take to the road to face Northern Iowa Saturday. Kickoff against the Panthers is set for 4 p.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+.
