VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team continues Summit League play, with a road matchup against South Dakota on Wednesday night from Sanford Coyote Sports Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., on Midco Sports and 100.3 The Cat.

It is the 205th meeting all-time between North Dakota and South Dakota, matching up for the second time this season. The Hawks lead the all-time series 107-97, defeating the Coyotes earlier this year, 96-80 on Jan. 17 at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The two squads are 5-5 against each other in the last 10 contests facing one another.

North Dakota is coming off a 98-79 loss to Denver on Saturday afternoon, snapping its five-game winning streak. The Hawks never led in the contest, trailing by as many as 21.

Scouting the Opposition
South Dakota enters this game with a 14-12 overall record and 6-5 in conference play. The Coyotes sit just two games behind NoDak for 3rd place.

The Yotes have won three of their last four games, paced offensively right now by Cameron Fens (13.8) and Jordan Crawford (14.3). Both players have scored in double figures the last nine games.

Guard Uzziah Buntyn has stepped up with the absence of Isaac Bruns, averaging 19.3 points per game over the last six contests.
