SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The North Dakota softball team looks to stay hot, continuing its 2026 season in San Antonio for five games in the Birds Up Bash at Roadrunner field in San Antonio. The Hawks will face UT Arlington twice, while playing UTSA, New Mexico State, Saint Francis and New Mexico State once each.
The Hawks enter this game on a five-game winning streak, owning an 8-7 record on the season. UND dominated in Murray, Ky. last weekend at the Velvet Milkman Classic, beating Green Bay and Murray State twice, finishing it out with a victory over IU Indy.
In the tournament, NoDak outscored its opponents 29-13, hitting for a .297 team batting average and owning a team ERA of 1.32. The Hawks swatted 12 extra base hits and had two home runs.
