GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team looks to keep things going, taking on the Denver Pioneers on Saturday at 1 p.m. from Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Coverage can be found on Midco Sports and heard on 1440 AM The Fan.

It is the 19th career meeting between the two teams, matching up for the second time in two weeks. UND leads the all-time series 11-7, defeating Denver on Jan. 24 in Denver by a score of 93-86. The game featured 20 lead changes. UND has won six of the last seven meetings overall.

The Fighting Hawks are coming off a gritty, 76-73 victory over Omaha on Thursday night, good for their fifth-straight win. UND overcame a 13-point halftime deficit, to surge back and defeat the Mavs. Five Hawks were in double figures, led by Greyson Uelmen with 21 points.

Scouting the Opposition
Denver comes into this game with the biggest win of its season, defeating North Dakota State, 78-71 in Fargo on Thursday evening.

The Pioneers have won two of their last three games, led by guard Carson Johnson who is leading the Summit League in points per game in conference play, averaging 21.9 points during 10 Summit League games. The Pioneers have lost their six conference games by a total of 36 points (6.0 per game)
