GADSDEN, Ala. — North Dakota women's golf wrapped up play at the Chris Banister Golf Classic on Tuesday, finishing 15th in the three‑round event at the RTJ Golf Trail at Silver Lakes.
The Fighting Hawks posted a team score of 967 (323‑328‑316), closing with their best round of the week.
Sophie Cook paced UND with a 239 (+23) to tie for 48th, recording rounds of 80, 81 and a tournament‑best 78 in the final round.
Emersyn Walker was close behind in a tie for 53rd at 240 (+24), rebounding with a 74 on the final day—the lowest single‑round score by any Hawk in the field.
Gigi Lund (244, +28) finished 62nd, followed by
Annika Jyrkas (249, +33) in a tie for 69th.
Mallory Uselman closed out the team lineup in 88th with a 264 (+48). UND's individual competitor, Lindsay Astrup, placed 89th at 268 (+52).
Nationally-ranked Tennessee won the team title at 869, while the Volunteers' Madison Messimer secured medalist honors with a 214 (‑2).
North Dakota returns to action March 23–25 at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate in Arizona.
