SEATTLE, Wash. – The North Dakota softball team heads out to the pacific northwest to take on the Washington Huskies on Wednesday night from Husky Softball Field at 8 p.m. Coverage can be found on Big Ten Network Plus.

It is the fourth meeting all-time between the two squads, squaring off for the second consecutive season. Washington leads the all-time series 3-0, defeating the Fighting Hawks, 5-0 on Feb. 16, 2025 in Tempe, Ariz. In the three meetings, The Huskies have outscored UND 21-4.

The Hawks sit at 19-9 on the season, winners in 16 of their last 18 games overall. UND took two-of-three games while in Philadelphia, last defeating Penn by a score of 10-1, last Wednesday.

Scorching Over its Last 18 Games
UND is hitting .316 over the last 18 games, averaging 6.7 runs per contest. Outscoring its opponents 120-57, North Dakota has a team ERA of 2.58 over this span. The Hawks have hit 14 home runs over this time, including five from Taya Hopfauf.

Scouting the Opposition
Washington enters this contest on a 12-game winning streak, with a 22-6 overall record. The Huskies sit at 6-0 in Big Ten play, coming off a three-game sweep of the Maryland Terrapins. UW sits at 7-0 at home this season.

Offensively, the Huskies are led by Alexis DeBoer, who has 11 home runs and 28 RBIs, with a .408 batting average. In the circle, Washington is led by Morgan Reimer, who has a 13-1 record this season, with a 1.44 ERA.
