LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. — North Dakota men's golf finished 11th at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate on Tuesday, posting a three‑round total of 873 (+9) at the Wigwam Resort Gold Course. UND competed in a deep 17‑team field that included multiple Power Five programs and placed third among Summit League schools — finishing ahead of in‑state rival North Dakota State.
Junior
Nathan Peyerl continued his strong spring form, earning a tie for 10th at 212 (-4). The performance marked his second top‑10 finish in the last three events and his fourth top‑10 of the season. Peyerl opened with a 69 (-3), followed by rounds of 72 (E) and 71 (-1) to lead the Fighting Hawks for the week.
Senior
Joseph Kortan joined him inside the top 20, finishing T‑18 at 214 (-2) behind matching rounds of 69 (-3) and 72 (E) before closing with a 73 (+1).
Carson Skarperud carded a 225 (+9) to finish T‑65, while
Carver Larson followed at 226 (+10) for T‑71.
Kagan Kollar rounded out UND's scoring with a 229 (+13) in 80th place.
Marquette captured the team title at 843 (-21), and Maryland's Emil Riegger claimed medalist honors with a 206 (-10).
North Dakota will close out the regular season portion of its schedule at the Gaucho Invitational beginning on Apr. 6 from Goleta, Calif.
