SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – In her first outdoor appearance of the track and field season,
Jadyn Keeler made North Dakota history yet again and her performance helped her secure another Women's Track Peak Performer of the Week honors, league officials announced on Tuesday.
Keeler rewrote history—besting her own previous school record—during the women's 10,000-meter run out at the Stanford Invitational in California. She took fourth overall in the event with her time of 31:56.03, which improved her previous record by nearly 10 seconds. Her clocking now sits as the 20
th-fastest time in NCAA history, tops the Summit League and sits fourth in the NCAA this season.
This accolade marks the fourth career outdoor weekly honor for Keeler and the 10th overall in her career.
North Dakota track and field will return to action this week at the Bryan Clay Multis in California on April 9 and 10 while also competing at the NDSU Spring Classic in Fargo on April 10 and 11.
