ST. LOUIS – North Dakota sophomore running back Charles Langama earned his second straight Missouri Valley Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honor Monday.

The Maple Grove, Minn., native produced 284 all-purpose yards in UND's 47-23 victory over Portland State, including a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Langama, who has back-to-back games with 200-plus all-purpose yardage, averaged 36.6 yards per return against the Vikings and added 83 rushing yards and a 19-yard reception. His kickoff return touchdown was the first special teams score of the season for the Fighting Hawks and he currently ranks second among FCS players with 208.0 all-purpose yards per game.

The Fighting Hawks remain on the road Saturday to face Nebraska in a clash against the Big Ten foe. Kickoff against the Cornhuskers is set for 6:15 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
