GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota women's soccer team opens Summit League play Thursday at home against North Dakota State before traveling to South Dakota State on Sunday. The Fighting Hawks look to open conference play with a win for the first time since 2019, when UND defeated South Dakota, 2-1, at home.
 
Thursday's matchup will mark the 23rd meeting all-time between UND and North Dakota State. The Fighting Hawks earned a 1-0 road victory over the Bison last season, marking UND's first win over NDSU since the 2020 season. The Hawks will look to make it two straight against the Bison when the teams meet Thursday.

UND and South Dakota State will meet for the 21st time on Sunday in Brookings. The Fighting Hawks and Jackrabbits played to a 2-2 draw in Brookings last season. UND will look to earn its first victory over SDSU since the 2012 season when the teams meet Sunday.
