ST. LOUIS – North Dakota senior quarterback Jerry Kaminski, senior left tackle Trace Thaden and sophomore running back Charles Langama were each honored by the Missouri Valley Football Conference following their performances in the Fighting Hawks' 62-26 Potato Bowl victory over St. Thomas.

Kaminski's Offensive Player of the Week nod is the second of his career, while Thaden and Langama earned the first Offensive Lineman of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week honors of their respective careers.

Kaminski went 23-for-29 for 233 yards and a career-high five touchdown passes in the win over the Tommies. He threw all five of his scoring tosses in the opening half, going 18-for-22 for 193 yards to help UND build a 41-12 at the break. Kaminski once again spread the ball around, finding nine different receivers and completing 79 percent of his passes as UND won its seventh straight Potato Bowl game. He added 23 rushing yards on six attempts.
 
Thaden graded out at 83 percent on his 54 offensive snaps and did not allow a sack or pressure during his time on the field. He also helped the offensive amass 528 yards of total offense, including 295 on the ground. UND also went 8-for-9 in red zone trips, scoring touchdowns on each of those successful attempts.
 
Langama set up a pair of UND second-half touchdowns with kickoff returns of 40 and 56 yards, respectively. The sophomore averaged 48.0 ypr and finished the contest with a career-high 216 all-purpose yards. He added another career-best 120 yards on the ground and scored a 15-yard rushing touchdown.

After two straight home wins to open the season, the Fighting Hawks take to the road for the first time this season when they travel to the Pacific Northwest to face Portland State Saturday at 9 p.m. CT.
