Before UND: A 2005 graduate of Eastview High School ... Lettered three times in track and field, twice in soccer and once in hockey ... Earned all-state and all-conference honors in track ... Was an all-conference honorable mention in soccer.

Personal:  Majoring in communication ... Son of David and Lynn Fashant ... A member of UND’s track and field team in 2005-06 ... Younger sister, Rachael, is a sophomore on UND's track and field team.
