Spring 2009 (Freshman): Competed in three events and a total of eight rounds ... Averaged 88.5 strokes ... He finished 58th in the Carlton Oaks Invitational (Feb. 16-17) where he was +23 (81-86=167) in the two round event ... He finished 46th in the Hiddenbrooke Intercollegiate (March 15-17) where he was +45 (83-87-91=261) in the three round event ... He finished 28th in the Hal Sutton Inviatational (April 6-7) where he was +64 (95-88-97=280) in the three round event.

Fall 2008 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut at the Cobber Invite (Sept. 5) ... Carded a 77 in the one-day event, which finished tied for 22nd ... Competed in four events and a total of eight rounds ... Averaged 77.6 strokes ... Lowest finish was 24th at the Concordia Fall Invitational (Oct. 5-6), where he was +11 in the two-round event (77-78=155) ... Lowest round came in the Erv Kaiser Invitational, where he opened the three-day event with scores of one over par (73) on both the first and second day.

Before UND: A 2008 graduate of Moorhead Senior High School, where he was named to the all-state academic golf team his senior year ... Had a 75.8 stroke average ... Took first place in the Metro Classic ... Also played hockey and was a one-year letterwinner.

Personal: Son of Jon and Anne Buckellew ... Majoring in physical education, exercise science and wellness (PXW) and minor in coaching.
