Biography

Coach Bruggeman on Wilson:
“Brittany came in as a setter and last year she took her redshirt year to learn the libero position for us.  Brittany has incredible determination and she has the right attitude for a defensive player-very persistent and determined to not let balls hit the ground.  She'll be looked at to provide that tenacity on the defensive end.  She's also one of our top servers, so she will be an offensive threat for us.  She'll come in and give us a spark or calm us down if that's what we need-she's a great role player.”

High School: A 2003 graduate of Coppell High School in Coppell, Tex. ... lettered in volleyball three times and twice more in soccer ... named MVP of her prep volleyball squad two years ... named Division 5A “Setter of the Year” ... member of the academic honor roll two years.  

Personal:  Born June 17, 1985 ... planning to major in physical therapy ... daughter of Rick and Carol Wilson ... father played hockey at UND and was an assistant coach on the 1980 national championship team; he is currently a coach for the Dallas Stars ... brother Landon played hockey for the Sioux from 1993 to 1995 ... sister Brooke played soccer for North Dakota in 1999.
