2000-01: Played in 30 games as a freshman ... Scored his first career goal on Oct. 14 at Maine ... Added two additional goals during the season, against Bemidji State (March 3), and Minnesota-Duluth (March 10) ... The Minnesota-Duluth goal tied the score of game two of the first round WCHA playoffs at 2-2 ... First career assist came against Colorado College (Dec. 8) ... Earned first letter.

Before UND: Played two seasons for Sioux City (USHL) ... Scored 23 goals and had 33 assists as a senior at East Grand Forks ... Lettered three times in hockey ... Also a three-year letterwinner in football, had 1,325 yards passing and passed for 12 touchdowns as a senior ... A three-year letterwinner in golf, participated in the state tournament as a senior.
