2008 (Junior): Earned 2008 Great West Academic All-Conference honors ... Appeared in nine games with nine starts as an outside linebacker ...  Finished the season with seven tackles (three solo) ... Registered his first forced fumble at Idaho State (Sept. 18) ...  Tabbed his first pass breakup at Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 27) ... Served as UND’s long snapper on punts ... Ranked eighth in the league with a forced fumble ... Awarded UND’s 2008 Evan Lips Athletic Scholarship ... Recipient of the 2008 Athletics Director Award of Merit ... Earned third letter.

2007 (Sophomore): Named to Academic All-NCC team ... Earned second straight NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll selection ... Was named UND’s Co-Special Teams Player of the Week for week five ... Appeared in all 12 games and made 11 starts at outside linebacker ... Also served as UND’s long snapper on punts ... Made 11 tackles (seven solo) ... Received his first start in the season opener against Humboldt State (Aug. 23) ... Earned second letter.

2006 (Freshman): Named to NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll ... Appeared in 12 games and served as UND’s long snapper on punts ... Made his collegiate debut in the season opener at Central Washington (Sept. 1) ... Earned first letter.

2005: Redshirt season.

Before UND: A 2005 graduate of Bismarck St. Mary’s High School ... 2004 Class AAA all-state first team selection ... Named to 2004 Western Dakota Conference team on offense and defense ... All-state second team pick as a junior ... Served as team captain as a senior and was a three-year starter ... Also competed in baseball and basketball ... Was a starter on 2003 basketball state championship team.

Personal: Majoring in investments ... Son of Jeff and Paulette Tescher ... Father wrestled at UND and was an All-American in 1981.
