Return as the starting right cornerback for the second straight season...

2002: Started all 11 games last season and leads all returners in pass break ups... 49 tackles were fourth-best on the team and also leads all returners... A difference maker as he fourced two fumbles and recovered two more in addition to an interception and five pass break ups... Recorded a career high against Central Washington... Broke up three passes and had seven tackles to help the sioux maintain a 12-6 lead over NDSU... Intercepted St. Cloud's Keith Heckendorf deep in Husky territory to thwart a drive and keep the sioux within striking distance as UND scored on the ensuing drive to close the gap eventually falling 20-17.

2001: Played in 11 regular season games and recorded three unassisted tackles and one pass breakup... Played in all four playoff games... Earned first letter...

2000: Redshirt season.

Before UND: A 2000 Detriot lakes High School graduate... Voted most valuable D-back... Twice earned Super Laker Award for work ethic...

Personal: Born December 23, 1981... Majoring in biology... Brother of incoming UND freshman quarterback Reed Manke.
