2009 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 11 games with six starts as a defensive lineman ... Opened the season with an unassisted tackle at Texas Tech (Sept. 5) ... Landed a career-high three tackles (all assisted), including one for a loss (one yard) ... Recorded a UND record two blocked kicks in the 27-12 Homecoming victory over South Dakota (Oct. 3) ... Added a solo stop and a quarterback hurry against USD ... Had a three-game span (USD, Oct. 3 to Sioux Falls, Oct. 17) with a quarterback hurry and at least one tackle ... Tied his personal-high three tackles, including a personal-best three solo stops against Southern Oregon (Nov. 7) ... Registered a three-yard tackle for loss in the Great West Conference championship game at UC Davis (Nov. 14) ... Finished the season with a UND record and career-high tying two blocked kicks at Central Arkansas (Nov. 28) ... Made his collegiate debut against Texas AandM-Kingsville (Aug. 28) and registered his first quarterback hurry ... Made his first collegiate tackle (solo and assisted) and his first tackle-for-loss during the 45-7 Potato Bowl USA victory over Wisconsin-LaCrosse ... Registered a personal-best of three tackles (two solo) at UC Davis (Oct. 25) ... Finished the season with nine total tackles, with at least one in the final four games of the season ... Earned first letter.

2007: Redshirt season.

Before UND: A 2007 graduate of West Fargo High School where he played for head coach and former Fighting Sioux Jay Gibson ... Participated in the 2006 Shrine Bowl and Badlands Bowl ... Earned first team all-state honors as a senior and was named to his second consecutive All-Eastern Dakota Conference first team ... Served as team captain as a senior and was named West Fargo's most valuable player ... Also earned team's most valuable offensive and defensive lineman awards ... Named to all-state second team as a junior ... Won state championship as a sophomore ... Was the 2006 Red River Valley Powerlifting champion and set school weightlifting records for bench press, power clean and squat.
