Before UND: A 2007 graduate of Duluth Central High School ... Lettered four times in football and served as a team captain as a senior ... Earned all-state honors in the 100 and 200 meters and set the school record in the 400 meters ... Team captain in track and was a three-time all-conference performer ... Also lettered three times in basketball.

2010 (Junior): Appeared in 11 games, making a career-high five starts as a wide receiver ... Finished the season with 13 catches for a career-best 190 yards and two touchdowns ... The 190 yards receiver were the fourth-highest total on the team ... Caught two passes for a career-high 75 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown reception in the victory over Northwestern State (Sept. 25) ... Hauled in a career-high four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown at South Dakota (Oct. 2) ... Made two catches for 30 yards vs. Lamar (Oct. 30) and had three catches for 30 yards in the next game vs. UC Davis (Nov. 6) ...
