Made his college debut during the home opener versus Texas AandM-Kingville (Aug. 28), returned his first UND kick for 39 yards and followed later with a career-high 50-yard return ... During that game he also recorded his first interception and ran it for 15 yards ... Racked up a season-high 157 return yards on seven returns at Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 27) ... Recorded over 100 kick return yards on three occasions ... Made a career-high seven solo tackles both at Southern Illinois (Nov. 1) and versus Southern Utah (Nov. 8) ... Before UND: A 2007 graduate of Armstrong Senior High School ... Rushed 21 times for 171 yards and a touchdown in 2006 season opener before suffering a season-ending injury ... Earned all-conference honors as a junior after leading Armstrong Senior High in rushing yards, receptions and all-purpose yards ... Served as a team captain during junior season ... Also lettered three times in track and field and finished fourth in 400-meter relay and ninth in the long jump at the 2005 state championships ... Two-time all-conference performer in track and earned all-state honors once.
