2015 (Junior): Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky honors ... Appeared in all 11 games and earned four starts at defensive end ... Finished season with 18 tackles, 6.0 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks and two forced fumbles ... Tallied a season-high four tackles at No. 19 Montana (Oct. 24) ... Registered a sack in back-to-back wins over No. 19 Montana State (Oct. 31) and vs. Northern Colorado (Nov. 14) ... Also had a forced fumble against the Bobcats and at Cal Poly (Nov. 21) ... Earned first letter.

2014 (Sophomore): Racked up 9.5 tackles for loss and six sacks for the California Community College Athletic Association runner-ups.

2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in five games as a reserve on the defensive line for Sacramento State … Recorded six total tackles during his first active season … All of his stops came in two games … Had four assisted tackles in the victory at North Dakota (Oct. 19).

2012 (Freshman): Redshirted for Sacramento State.

Prior to UND: Spent the 2014 season at City College of San Francisco after spending first two collegiate seasons at Sacramento State ... Played under current UND defensive line coach Jordan Gigli with the Hornets ... A 2012 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School … Named first team All-Valley by the Redlands Daily Facts and first team All-Southwestern League as a senior … Finished his senior season with 44 total tackles, including 8.0 sacks … Had nine stops and four sacks against Temecula Valley for his season highs.

Personal: Son of Leonard and Darla Johnson ... Majoring in Psychology ... Severely burned over 20 percent of his body as a toddler and doctors believed he would lose the use of his right arm.
