2018 (Junior): Appeared in eight games and was sidelined for the final three due to an injury ... Made eight starts ... Finished second on the team in catches with 22 ... Scored a pair of touchdowns ... Accumulated 194 yards on the season ... Hauled in five passes at No. 9 Washington (Sept. 8) ... Scored the season-opening touchdown vs. Mississippi Valley State (Aug. 30) ... Also had a season-high 57 yards vs. the Delta Devils ... Scored a touchdown vs. Idaho State (Sept. 22). 

2017 (Sophomore): Named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team ... Appeared in 10 games and earned five starts at wide receiver ... Finished third on team in receptions (30) and receiving  yards (408) ... Opened campaign with four receptions for 64 yards at Utah (Aug. 31) ... Had back-to-back five-catch outings vs. Missouri State (Sept. 9) and at South Dakota (Sept. 16) ... Scored rushing touchdowns on his only two carries of the season in home win over Northern Colorado (Oct. 7) ... Also had two receptions for 39 yards to go with two rushing scores vs. Bears ... Capped season with a season-best six receptions for 75 yards vs. Eastern Washington (Nov. 11) ... Earned second letter.

2016 (Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games and earned eight starts at wide receiver ... Led team with 39 receptions and was second with 433 receiving yards and three touchdowns ... Only Fighting Hawk with at least one reception in all 12 games ... Also added seven carries for 77 yards ... Had three catches for 33 yards in collegiate debut at Stony Brook (Sept. 1) ... Caught six passes for 58 yards in first collegiate start at Bowling Green (Sept. 10) ... Had two catches for 21 yards and caught first collegiate touchdown in double-overtime victory against South Dakota (Sept. 17) ... Made a season-high seven catches for 52 yards in road win at Montana State (Sept. 24) ... Posted touchdown receptions in back-to-back wins over Southern Utah (Oct. 15) and at Idaho State (Oct. 22) ... Finished win over Thunderbirds with five receptions for season-high 99 yards ... Earned first letter.  

Before UND: Named to the 2015 American Family Insurance All-USA Minnesota Football Team as a second team wide receiver … Earned Minnesota Associated Press Class 4A All-State third team honors after leading the state in receiving yards with 1,037 in eight regular season games … Named the Republican Eagle All-Area Player of the Year after finishing season with 64 receptions for 1,287 yards and 11 touchdowns … As a junior, finished with 28 receptions for 660 yards and eight touchdowns … Named the Republican Eagle All-Area Player of the Year in basketball following junior and senior seasons ... Averaged 17.9 ppg as a senior en route to leading team to first state tournament berth since 2004.

Personal: Majoring in entrepreneurship ... Son of Doug and Lisa Toivonen ... Brother, Isaac, plays tennis at Concordia (Minn.) College and sister, Marisa, just finished collegiate golf career at Augustana College.
