Before UND: A 2007 graduate of Williston High School ? Lettered five times in hockey at Williston where her head coach was former Sioux defenseman Mikaela Rehak (formerly Tofte)  ? Was a five-time all-state and all-conference selection ? Named the 2007 North Dakota Girls Hockey Senior Athlete of the Year after leading the state in scoring with 55 goals and 46 assists for 101 points ? Graduated as the state’s all-time leading scorer with 409 points ? Notched 258 goals and 151 assists in her prep career ? Led her team to a fourth-place finish at 2007 state tournament ? Also lettered five times in tennis and was an all-conference selection each year ? Earned four all-state honors in tennis and won a state doubles championship ? Helped her team to three region titles ? Also lettered once in golf ? Member of the National Honor Society.
