2011: Started 26 games and appeared in 33 during his first season at the Division I level ... Twenty-one of those starts came in right field, while the other five were at designated hitter ... Batted .273 in 14 starts in Great West play, adding two doubles, eight triples and eight RBI ... First Division I hit came during a 2-for-4 effort at Wichita State (Feb. 27) ... Also had a multiple-hit game at NYIT (April 22) and vs. Chicago State (April 30) ... First Division I home run was a two-run shot at Nebraska (March 20) ... Had a two-run, pinch-hit single vs. NJIT (May 15) ... Hit safely in all four games of the Chicago State series (April 29-30) ... Earned first letter.

Before UND: Played two seasons at Dodge City Community College where he earned All-Conference utility honors as a sophomore … Batted .336 with nine doubles, two triples, three home runs and 13 stolen bases that season … Played three seasons for the American Legion Post 42 Roughriders … Earned all-state honors as a senior en route to helping his team to a state championship … Batted .436 with 19 doubles, four triples and three home runs as a senior … Also stole 59 bases and scored 108 runs in 62 games.
