Before UND: Lettered four seasons at Annandale High School where he won his team’s “Golden Bat” award as a junior and senior … Earned team MVP honors and Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches’ Assocation Class 2A all-state honors as a senior when he batted .480 with 12 doubles, three home runs and 23 RBI … Also named first team All-Wright County … Belted three home runs in a game as a sophomore against Watertown.
