Also was the fourth UND product to be named captain for their country at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, prior to its cancelation due to COVID-19 ... Finished third on the team with 26 points in just 23 games ... Scored eight goals and added 18 assists ... Led all defenseman in the NCAA with a 1.1304 points-per-game mark ... Both of his goals came on the power play ... Only whistled for one penalty all season ... Missed seven games in December while competing at the IIHF World Junior Championships with Team USA, winning gold ... Scored his first-career goal and notched his first-career multi-point game in a win over Denver (Dec. 4) in only his second game ... Tallied an assist in his final game before the World Juniors vs. Western Michigan (Dec. 6) ... Notched a pair of helpers in the win over Colorado College (Jan. 24) ... Had an assist a week later in a road win at Omaha (Jan. 29) ... Continued to torch the Mavericks with points in three straight games to end the regular season ... Named MVP of 2020 Biosteel All-American Game, finishing the game with two assists ... A season prior, played in 44 games with the U17 team, scoring four goals and adding 20 assists for 24 points ... Originally drafted 67th overall in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft by the Kootenay Ice ... Selected in the 1st round (5th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft ...
