Scored 16 goals and 20 assists as a senior and was named defenseman of the year ? Also lettered four years in tennis and was an all-conference honorable mention ? Received outstanding academic achievement award each of her four years at Forest Lake High.

Personal: Undecided on a major ? Daughter of Brett and Debbie Nelson ? Dad played hockey at the University of Minnesota from 1984-89.
