Before UND: Averaged double-figure points in all four varsity seasons for his Atlantic High School squad ... Ranked second in Iowa Class 3A scoring after pouring in 23.8 ppg ... Also pulled down 8.9 rpg, dished our 3.6 apg, while adding 2.2 spg and 1.9 bpg on the defensive end ... Finished prep career as Atlantic's all-time career scoring leader with 1,543 points ... Named one of three honorary captains on The Word Herald's All-Western Iowa Team as a senior after leading Atlantic to its first state tournament appearance in 15 years ... Earned All-Hawkeye Ten first-team conference honors and Omaha World Herald’s All-Western Iowa honorable mention honors as a junior after averaging 16.0 ppg ...
