Matt Yow is in his second season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the North Dakota softball team.

Prior to coming to UND, he had a standout football career at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Yow, a former linebacker and defensive end for the Pointers from 2003 to 2006, lettered three times and earned the team’s 2003 Defensive Kodiak Player of the Year award.

A native of Appleton, Wis., Yow received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2007.
