2025-26 (Senior): Appeared and started in all 35 games in his senior campaign across 31.7 minutes per night... Averaged 11.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 2.0 assists and 0.8 blocks per game on 41.7% from the field and 30.5% from deep... Scored in double figures 25 times and had 20 or more points three times... Had a career-high 25 points on Dec. 18 against Winthrop, connecting on the game-winning three-pointer with 0.9 seconds remaining... Scored 10 or more points in 10 consecutive games from Jan. 3 - Feb. 5, converting on a game-winning layup at St. Thomas on Jan. 29 to end the Tommies 28-game home winning streak... His 72 steals were tied for 17th in the nation and was first in the Summit League... Recorded a career-high seven steals on Jan. 22 at Oral Roberts, good for the most steals in a game all-time in the division l era... Snatched two or more steals in 24 games, doing so in the first eight games of the season... 2024-25 (Junior): Started all 33 games for UND and compiled 8.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game... Poured in nine double digit scoring efforts, including three consecutive 10 or more point games to close out the season on 3/1 at South Dakota, 3/7 vs. South Dakota State and 3/8 vs St. Thomas (MN)... Tied a career high 24 points twice on 2/1 vs. South Dakota State and 2/15 vs. Oral Roberts... Shot 37.5% from behind the arc, knocking down at least one three pointer in 24 games... Tied a career high four three pointers twice on 1/4 vs. St. Thomas (MN) and 2/15 vs. Oral Roberts... Ranked fourth in the Summit League in steals per game, snatching at least one steal in 25 games... Totaled a season high five steals on 12/29 vs. Waldorf, while recording at least one steal in 11 consecutive games from 12/7 through 1/11... Dished out a career high six assists on 12/15 vs. UTSA
2023-24 (Sophomore): Played in all 32 games, starting the first 12 games of the season…averaged 24.1 minutes per game…was named to the Summit League All-Defensive Team…was one of the top players in the conference in steals, averaging 1.6 per game and 1.8 in conference games…tied a UND Division I single game record with a career high six steals against Kansas City on 2/10…also set new career highs in points (18) at Denver on 2/15, rebounds (9) at Cal State Fullerton on 12/1, assists (5) at Pacific on 11/20, and blocks (3) against Elon on 11/12…finished the year with 134 rebounds (4.2 per game), 66 assists and 11 blocks…scored 228 total points, averaging 7.1 per game…shot .422 from the field and .354 from three point range
Before UND: King played in nine games for Iowa State last season, scoring a season high five points against McNeese State. King, a native of Caledonia, Minnesota, was a finalist for Mr. Basketball his senior year at Caledonia High School. He averaged 19.9 points per game his senior year as well as 9.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 4.2 steals. He was selected as the recipient of the 2022 MBCA McDonald Award, which is awarded to the outstanding senior player of the year in Minnesota.
