Coach Bruggeman on Van Der Most:
“Christina learned our offense last year and gained confidence.  Even though we have Jamie as our senior setter, Christina will also be looked at to push Jamie and step in situations where we need her to set.  I feel confident in her ability to run the offense and to run the show.  I know she has an incredible work ethic.  She's got incredible quickness, so when we need some energy, Christina will be looked at to help the team out in those areas.  She leads by example.”

2003: Played in 14 matches and 24 games ... hit a team-high .273 on the season ... did not have a negative hitting percentage in a match all season ... notched three games of 1.000 percentage hitting ... tallied a career-high 13 assists in the final match at Hyslop (10/28/03) vs. Minnesota-Crookston ... chipped-in eight digs at St. Cloud State (10/10/03) ... registered her first block vs. Northern State (9/5/03) ... had multiple digs in eight of her 14 matches played.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Rampart High School ... a four-time volleyball letterwinner at Rampart High School ... holds the school record for career assists with over 2,000 ... was named academic all-state as a junior and senior and has a 4.1 GPA.
