ABERDEEN, S.D. -- UND senior Lee DeKrey (Grand Forks, N.D.) placed second individually to lead the Sioux men's cross country team to a first-place finish in Northern State's three-team Roe Granger Invitational on Friday. The Sioux had four runners finish in the top 10.

UND finished first with 23 points, while host Northern finished second (35 points), and Presentation College finished third (75 points).

Also finishing in the top 10 for North Dakota were senior Richie Spitsberg (East Grand Forks, Minn.) (fifth--27:17); junior Kyle Downs (Hibbing, Minn.) (sixth--27:19); and Patrick Mahoney (Winona, Minn.) (ninth--27:57).
