GRAND FORKS - It's one of the first signs hockey season is right around the corner.

The University of North Dakota men's hockey team held its annual media day on Tuesday at Ralph Engelstad Arena. After a brief lunch, head coach Dave Hakstol spoke with media members and introduced the 2007-08 captains.

Senior Rylan Kaip was named the captain, and juniors T.J. Oshie, Ryan Duncan, and Taylor Chorney were named the assistant captains.
