GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- UND soccer player Megan Tracy has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Tracy, a sophomore forward from Bismarck, N.D., scored a goal in UND's 5-1 win over Jamestown College. Tracy also scored the game winning goal against Minn. State-Moorhead, giving the Fighting Sioux a 1-0 win Sunday afternoon. Currently leading UND in goals scored with four, Tracy had four shots on the weekend.
Also nominated were Carly Petersen, Minnesota State and Taylor Gray, South Dakota. St. Cloud State's Elizabeth Kelly was named Defensive Player of the Week.
The Fighting Sioux will open North Central Conference play when they travel to Duluth, Minn. for a 1 pm. match-up on Sunday, Sept. 16.
