GRAND FORKS, N.D. - On Friday, Oct. 9, the North Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving teams will hit the pool for the annual Green/White meet. Warm-ups are set to begin at 3 p.m., with events starting around 4 p.m. in the Hyslop pool.

Head coach Steven Parsons and his coaching staff will use the preseason "competition" as a measuring stick for the season. The meet will give them an opportunity to see how the athletes match up in order to determine who will compete for the Fighting Sioux as they enter into the second year of transition into NCAA Division I.

UND will dive into the new season on Friday, Oct. 9 with a dual against South Dakota State in Brookings, S.D. The team will follow on Saturday with a dual agaisnt South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D. The first home meet will take place on Oct. 30-31.
