GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota soccer team will take to Bronson Field for its first action of the 2009 season this Saturday at 2 p.m., in an exhibition game against the University of Mary Marauders.
The Fighting Sioux soccer team will be hosting Meet-and-Beat the Sioux directly following the game. Meet-and-Beat the Sioux is a free clinic for eighth grade-and-younger students, where the kids will have the opportunity to get skill-development lessons in a fun-and-friendly environment.
Fans will then be able to interact with the squad along with an autograph session (autograph cards will be provided).
Beforehand, the Sioux will be looking to get back into the win column against Mary. The Sioux hold and all-time record of 5-3 against UM with the last four being one-goal games (last two going the way of the Marauders).
