Volume 13: Monday, Feb. 15

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Last night we played Chicago State and came out with the win.

It felt great to play at 'The Betty'.  I know that in some of our past home games we have lacked the intensity and emotion we've needed.  Having two weeks off somewhat makes you realize that you can't take games for granted and from now on we can't play with a lackluster effort.

Last night it felt like "us" ... we were all working well together and were excited for each other.  The atmosphere at 'The Betty' was so energetic. I know I keep saying this, but thank you so much everyone who came out and cheered us on.

As for our next game, we fly to Seattle on Monday morning and play on Tuesday.  I know we beat Seattle earlier in the year, but they are a good team and we lost to them on their home court last year, so we definitely need to step it up.

Our next home game will be this coming Saturday against Utah Valley.  I really hope we can pack 'The Betty' and show them what Sioux pride is all about.

Thanks for reading, now go eat some chocolate!
