GREELEY, Colo. – The University of North Dakota dropped a pair of Big Sky Conference games against Northern Colorado on Friday afternoon, as the Bears went on to win 16-4 and 14-1.
North Dakota recorded a total of 13 hits on the day, but UNC out hit UND for the doubleheader win.
Nicole Babrowski led UND with three hits on the day with a .750 batting average. The trio of Emily Bell, Shelby Hard and Maria Dendinger all hit .500 and had one run on the day. Additionally, both Bell and Dendinger had one double each.
Hannah Tometich hit her first home run of the season in the opening game of the doubleheader, as she recorded a two-run shot in the fifth inning.
North Dakota finishes up the three-game series with Northern Colorado tomorrow at 2 p.m. (CT).
