Creighton powers past UND, 7-0

OMAHA, Neb. – The University of North Dakota men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Creighton on Friday afternoon in Omaha, Neb.

The Bluejays took all nine matches on the day and only one match, the No. 4 singles, went to three sets. Travis Lau dropped his first set 6-1 in the No. 4 singles spot, but battled back to win the second set 6-4. Unfortunately, Creighton's Aaron Chalstrom won the third set 10-4.

The loss drops UND to 0-2 on the season while Creighton picked up its first win of the season, improving to 1-2.

North Dakota returns to the court tomorrow, Jan. 23, to take on Nebraska. The dual meet against the Huskers is set to begin at 7 p.m. (CT).
