OMAHA – The University of North Dakota men's tennis team fell to Creighton, 7-0, in dual action on Saturday afternoon in Omaha.
Creighton won all six singles matches without losing a set. The Bluejays also took the doubles point to start off the meet with wins in the No. 2 and No. 2 doubles matches. With the doubles point having been decided, the No. 1 doubles match went unfinished.
Dustin Britton and Travis Lau paired together for the No. 1 singles match and were ahead, 5-4, before the two sides decided to stop play.
In singles competition, Britton and Ty Misialek were the only two Fighting Hawks to take a set to a 7-6 score. Unfortunately, both were on the losing ends of those sets as Britton fell in the No. 1 singles match, 6-3, 7-6, and Misialek lost the No. 3 singles match, 7-6, 6-4.
North Dakota finishes off weekend competition with a dual meet against The Summit League's Omaha tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. (CT).
