GRAND FORKS, N.D. - With Senior Day Ceremonies after Friday's match and Hawai'i headed to Grand Forks, the University of North Dakota will host Chicago State and Rainbow Wahine this weekend at Bronson Field in a pair of afternoon tilts.

Sunday's affair with UH will also be Sundae Funday with free ice cream to the first 100 Junior Champions Club members receiving free ice cream.

The Fighting Hawks returned from South Carolina last weekend with a 1-1-0 record, defeating South Carolina State on Wednesday, 2-0, and falling to The Citadel on Friday, 1-0.

In Wednesday's contest, Olivia Knox scored the game-winner off a corner kick from Olivia Valdivia while Mimi Eiden finished the match as Cassie Giddings threaded her a ball for the match's second score.

The UND attack was unlucky to walk away without a goal at The Citadel two days later as the Hawks speed, and precision passing tore through the backline. Eiden nearly scored from outside the 18-yard box, but Cadet goalkeeper Maddie Somogyi parried away all chances at the net. The Cadets scored in the 61st minute to win the match, 1-0.

Chicago State has opened the season 0-4-0, coming off of a 1-0 loss to Purdue Fort Wayne last Friday and a 2-0 defeat to Louisiana Lafayette in Sunday's matinee. During their preseason, the Cougars recorded a 3-0 victory over Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

Hawai'i will be making its first trip to the mainland after hosting a pair of tournaments and finishing 1-2-1. The Rainbow Wahine recorded a 1-0 triumph over Nevada on Aug. 29 and a 0-0 draw with Sacramento State two days later. UH has a trio scorers this season with Michaela Rentner, Kelci Sumida and Natalie Daub each tallying a goal this season.

UND will return to action Tuesday at home with a home match versus Minot State on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. Central at Bronson Field.
