GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Head soccer coach Chris Logan announced six student-athletes to the University of North Dakota's signing class of 2021 on Friday, diversifying the Fighting Hawks roster with student-athletes from six different states.
“This is a tremendous recruiting class for our program and is indicative of the forward progress the team has been making on a yearly basis," said Logan. "This group will come in and make an impact on our program over their 4 years at UND athletically, academically, and personally. We are excited they chose to continue their careers at UND and welcome them to our program and community with great excitement.”
The signing class of six is Logan's fifth since taking the reins of the UND Soccer program on Dec. 14, 2016. The Stoke-on-Trent, England native has built a model of consistency and growth for the Fighting Hawks soccer program, who have won 27 matches over the last three years and improved its win total each season under Logan's guidance.
During the 2019 season, North Dakota finished the year with a 10-8-1 overall including a 4-4-0 Summit League record to advance to The Summit League Tournament Semifinals for the first-time in program history.
North Dakota's 2020-21 roster features five seniors, 10 juniors, seven sophomores, and five freshmen. A breakdown of the class with quotes from Coach Logan are listed below.
