Series History vs. KSU
This will be the third meeting between North Dakota and Kansas State. The Wildcats hold the 2-0 lead in the series, winning the first contest by a tally of 85-52 in Manhattan on Nov. 9, 2012 and picking up the second win of the series at home 63-49 on Dec. 22, 2015. Bruce Weber was the head coach for KSU in both wins, while a Paul Sather coached team has yet to play the Wildcats.

Last Time Out
Despite leading up until the 6:41 mark in the second half, North Dakota suffered a 65-56 loss at Florida International on Wednesday morning. A pair of scoring droughts in the final minutes, paired with a 20-5 FIU run allowed the Golden Panthers to come away with the win. Paul Bruns was the most productive Fighting Hawk with a season-high 18 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Ethan Igbanugo and Tsotne Tsartsidze were the next leading scorers for UND with 10 points apiece.

Narrow Victories
In its two wins this season, North Dakota has won by an average of 2.0 points. The Fighting Hawks overcame a 14-point deficit on Nov. 15 to defeat Montana 79-77 in the final seconds inside the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. After leading by 14 in the second half, UND held on for a 74-72 win over Troy in the opening game of the Paradise Classic on Nov. 19.
