GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Following a hard fought weekend out West, the University of North Dakota will hit the road one final time to wrap up its non-conference weekend when it takes on Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn., on Sept. 23.
The match will kickoff at 6 p.m. Central time and air live on ESPN+. Fans can also follow live stats as well.
The Fighting Hawks opened matches with Oregon State and Portland with scoreless first halves, holding their own versus the nationally ranked Beavers and the historical power Pilots. When OSU cracked the scoreboard in the second half, UND's
Hannah Olson countered with a goal of her own to equalize the match.
Oregon State worked to put the match away with a pair of goals to build a 3-1 lead, but
Bailey McNitt cut the deficit to one in the 86th minute. However, time expired before North Dakota could force overtime as the Beavers matched their best start in school history at 8-0.
In the weekend finale, Portland scored three second half goals, starting with a penalty kick in the 62nd minute. After Portland took a 2-0 lead in the 65th, the Fighting Hawks were awarded a penalty of their own to try and cut the lead in half in the 78th minute.
Irene Jirasevijinda took a crack from the 12-yard spot but the attempt was saved by Portland, who countered with a third goal with just under 10 minutes remaining.

Madi Livingston recorded eight saves against Oregon State and seven more at Portland.
The host Governors enter the match with a 3-4-1 record and will close its non-conference season as it begins Ohio Valley Conference play on Sept. 26. Rachel Bradberry and Claire Larose lead the Austin Peay attack with two goals each this season Alec Baumgardt, Olivia Prock and Gybson Roth supplement the attack with a goal each.
UND will open Summit League play on Friday, Oct. 1 when it hosts Kansas City at Bronson Field. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. Central.
