GRAND FORKS,  N.D. – After tasting the first sweep at home since the 2018-19 season, No. 9/10 North Dakota hits the road and returns back to NCHC action against No. 4/3 Western Michigan from Lawson Ice Arena.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio, FightingHawks and Varsity Network apps. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action.

Friday will be the 33rd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Western Michigan, with UND leading the series 25-7-0. 

The two teams met twice during the NCHC pod in Omaha, with UND rolling to an 8-2 victory on Dec. 6 before completing the season sweep with a 6-3 win on Dec. 13.

This weekend will be the first trip to Lawson Ice Arena since Dec. 6-7, 2019, when UND swept the Broncos to improve to 11-3 all-time in Kalamazoo.
