NOTES: UND Turns Its Focus to Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff

North Dakota soccer heads south to face two SWAC opponents. The journey begins with a visit to Mississippi Valley State to face the Devilettes on Friday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. (CT). The Fighting Hawks continue their travels as they head to Arkansas Pine Bluff to face the Lady Lions on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. (CT). Next Up

North Dakota will start the conference season on the road. They head to the Midwest as they head to Nebraska to face the Omaha Mavericks on Friday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m (CT). The Fighting Hawks then fly to Colorado to take on the Denver Pioneers on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. (CT).

Kicking Off

• The Fighting Hawks currently have a record of 2-4-2 as they head to face two members of the SWAC. 

• North Dakota has managed to score six goals in the eight contests while posting 80 shots and 30 on goal. They average ten shots per game.

• The points leaders for the Fighting Hawks are Irene Jirasevijinda, Bailey McNitt and Hannah Olson with three each.  

• The Fighting Hawks have added some freshmen to the lineup. Three freshmen have played in all eight games with two starting all eight. Sarah McCracken and Amelia  Loeffler are the two who have started all eight games, and they have both scored one goal for the green and white in their debut season.

• The Fighting Hawks have been led in the net by Madi Livingston. She has started all eight games and played 692 minutes. She currently has 41 saves this season to give her a .764 save percentage. 

• Bailey McNitt leads the team with three assists this season. She has played in all eight games with five starts. She currently has played 452 minutes for the Hawks.
