NOTES: North Dakota, Minnesota Duluth set for first tangle this season

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Fighting Hawks are set to close out a six-game homestand this weekend against Minnesota Duluth, beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. 

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Travis Dunn calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.   

Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action. Taylor Budge and Monique Lamoureux-Morando join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts. Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 252nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth, with UND holding a 152-88-11 advantage in the series.  

This will be the first meeting of the two programs this season, with UND finishing last year with a 3-1-0 mark against the Bulldogs.  

The Fighting Hawks have gone 5-1-1 against UMD in the last seven regular season games, including three straight wins.
