NOTES: Volleyball Prepares for Three Match Week

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The North Dakota volleyball team will play three matches this week--the first concludes a three match road swing against in-state rival North Dakota State on Tuesday night, followed by two home matches against Denver on Thursday night and Oral Roberts Saturday afternoon. The Tuesday and Thursday matches will both start at 7:00 p.m. and the Saturday match will begin at noon. Saturday's match will commemorate 50 years of North Dakota volleyball.

Quick Hits

 * Marissa Stockman leads the team with 57 blocks on the season, and her .93 blocks/set ranks ninth in the Summit League. She also is among the most efficient hitters in the conference as she is hitting .340 on the season to rank third and in conference matches she is hitting a blistering .447 to lead the conference. 

* Elizabeth Norris ranks ninth in the Summit League in assists with 5.04 per set. She is also one of six players in the nation with three or more triple-doubles as she recorded her third of the year with ten kills, 20 assists and 12 digs against Omaha in Grand Forks.

* Izzie McCormick ranks among the league leaders in aces in Summit League play with .5 per set, and is also in the top ten in digs per set with 3.4. Overall she ranks seventh in digs per set with 3.22.

* Teagan Timperley has double digit assists in 17 of 18 matches she has played in this season. She also leads the team with 20 aces and is tied for tenth in the Summit League with .3 aces per set.

* McCallister Gayle recorded two solo blocks in the match at Omaha, her first match this season with multiple solo blocks.

* Last October UND got their first win over North Dakota State since 2018 with a 3-2 win in Fargo.
