NOTES: Fighting Hawks Take on Northland in Exhibition

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The North Dakota men's basketball team will host Northland College in an exhibition game at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Paul Ralston will call the game on the Home of Economy Radio Network. The game will not be televised or streamed.

 

Series History vs. the Lumberjacks

The Fighting Hawks have met the Lumberjacks four times in non-exhibition games, with UND taking all four matchups. The most recent meeting was Dec. 17, 2019 which was a 109-50 win for the green and white.

 

Last Season

North Dakota finished the 2022-23 campaign with a 13-20 record, a seven win improvement over 2021-22. The Fighting Hawks won their first Summit League Tournament game in three years with an 83-68 win over Denver in the first game of the tournament. The team won six of their last nine games, regular and postseason, last year.

 

Bench Boost

North Dakota finished the 2022-23 season with the most bench points in the Summit League, averaging 24.76 points per game from the reserves; which was 39th in the nation.
