The University of North Dakota women's basketball team takes on the Florida International University Panthers on Sunday March 19th at 1:30pm in the consulation championship game of the Women's Basketball Invitational(WBI) in Lexington, K.Y.

The Golden Panthers (12-18, 7-13 Conference USA). They finished eighth in their conference before bowing out of the postseason with a 72-59 loss to Charlotte. The Golden Panthers come into the WBI with only two wins away from their home court (2-9 away, 0-1 neutral). They are lead on offense with by senior guard Kaliah Henderson with 15.7 points per game. Henderson is the Golden Panthers' only player averaging double figure points this season. On defense the team averages 9.3 steals per game.
